Olympic Boxing: India's Vijender in 75 kg Quarterfinal

India's Vijender Singh entered the quarterfinal of the men's boxing 75 kg category with a close 16–15 points victory over his US opponent Terrel Gausha at the Olympics in London on Aug. 3, 2012.

Vijender, a bronze medalist in the Beijing Asian Games four years ago, will take on Uzbek boxer Abbos Atoev in the round of last eight. Victory over Atoev will assure Vijender of a medal, as both losing semi finalists are given bronze in the competition.
