EPL: Fergie Bans Man Utd Stars From Driving Sponsor’s Car

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has banned his young players from driving their new sponsor Chevrolet iconic supercar. US firm Chevrolet have signed a £210million, seven-year deal with the English Premier League giants.

Chevrolet is offering United’s first team any Chevrolet motor they fancied. Fergie ruled that no one under 23 could have one of the 205mph supercars. Only older Reds like defender Rio Ferdinand (33) will be allowed behind the wheel of a £70,000 Corvette, which goes from 0-60mph in 3.4 seconds.

The model is dependent on their time at the club and driving experience, a United spokesman said.
