‘Devdas 3D’ to Release on July 12

‘Devdas 3D’ will be released on July 12, 2012, exactly 10 years after the movie was released on July 12, 2002.

Time Magazine's film critic, Richard Corliss had recently selected ‘Devdas’ as one of the 10 best films of this millennium. Sanjay Leela Bhansali's adaptation of the 1917 Sharat Chandra Chattopadhyay's novel 'Devdas' stood on the number 8 slot on the coveted Times Magazines' 10 Greatest Movies of the Millennium list.

“It looks absolutely spectacular. The depth, resplendence and huge sets will make for great viewing in 3D. And unlike an action film, the camera won’t be running around rapidly. Just imagine watching Shah Rukh Khan, Madhuri Dixit and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in such a setting; it will be mind-blowing,” 49-year-old filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali said.
