SRK May be Banned for Life From Entering Wankhede Stadium

Indian superstar and co-owner of Kolkata Knight Riders, Shah Rukh Khan might face a lifetime ban on entering the Wankhede stadium in Mumbai after he allegedly misbehaved with security guards and cricket officials at the ground.

The incident took place on Wednesday night (May 16, 2012) after the IPL match between his team and Mumbai Indians. Kolkata Knight Riders won the match.

The trouble began when a bunch of 25 children wearing KKR jerseys descended onto the field of play after the match and indulged in a game of catch.

The MCA officials were not pleased with the encroachment and escorted the children off the field.

The actor got into a heated argument with the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) officials and used foul language against the officials. MCA vice-president Ravi Sawant said immediate action would be taken against the actor, including a move to ban the actor from the premises altogether.

A complaint has been registered in Mumbai's Marine Drive police station by MCA officials, who will decide on the ban on Thursday, May 17.
