Google and Samsung have rescheduled the event for the launch of the next version of Android, Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS), on October 19 in Hong Kong. This event was originally scheduled to take place at CTIA in San Diego this week, but was postponed because it was “just not the right time to announce a new product.”
Google's Android chief Andy Rubin will speak at the event which also coincides with the AllThingsD AsiaD conference. The new ICS flagship is expected to come loaded with a 1.5 Ghz dual-core processor, 1 GB RAM and a SuperAmoled + display with a resolution of 1280 x 720.
