Mercedes Benz Launches New ML-Class in India at Rs 56.9 Lakh

German luxury carmaker Mercedes Benz has launched its ML class, sports utility vehicle in India priced at Rs 56.9 lakh ex-showroom Delhi, cheaper by 15% than the earlier edition.

The new ML Class 2012 SUV is a 5-seater model that will compete with the likes of BMW X5 and Porsche Cayenne and speeds to 100 KMPH from zero in just 7.4 seconds.

The new ML Class is longer and wider and offers 20-28% better fuel efficiency than its earlier predecessor. The ML class will be available in two different variants.

The AMG edition, limited to 100 units, will be priced at Rs 66 lakh ex-showroom Delhi and the assembled version is priced at Rs 56.9 lakh. The company has already sold out the limited edition AMG version, claimed Mercedes Benz.

    Mercedes Benz is going to fill in the empty space of the compact crossover line up with the GLA trim.  In terms of Proportions the Mercedes Crossover GLA will replicate the Mercedes Benz B class ; it will be 4440 mm long, with by and large width of  1800 mm and the height touching the 1500 mm figure.  Mercedes Benz new crossover shares its platform with all new W176 A class hatch and W246 B Class, the platform is called Mercedes Front-Wheel Drive Architecture.And Maruti Suzuki India has rolled out its much awaited MPV Maruti Ertiga in six variant on 12th April. Maruti Ertiga price ranges from Rs. 5.89 lakh to Rs. 8.45 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
