The Delhi government will construct eight new hospitals in various parts of the national capital of India including rural areas where people face difficulties in availing health facilities in government hospitals, said Health Minister AK Walia.
On completion, these hospitals will provide additional 2,000 beds in the city, he said.
While 200-bedded hospitals are going to be constructed in Burari, Madipur, Siraspur, Hastsal, Ambedkar Nagar and Sarita Vihar areas, a 750-bed hospital is planned to come up in Dwarka.
