Dubai will host an international investment meet in May to help connect foreign investors seeking new destinations with fast growing economies. Participants from 45 countries will attend the second Annual Investment Meeting from May 1–3, 2012.
Foreign Trade Minister Sheikha Lubna Bint Khalid Al Qassimi said the event will bring together foreign investors and decision-makers from emerging markets with a view to achieve sustainable capital inflows.
"The UAE has attracted 220 billion dirhams ($60 billion) during the past five years," Qassimi said.
A great addition to the event this year is the China-Arab Industrial and Leadership Forum, which is an initiative designed to enhance partnership between China and the Gulf Cooperation Council, the minister added.
