Ernst & Young to Open Third Kerala Facility

Ernst & Young (E&Y) Global Shared Services (GSS) plans to expand its facilities at the state-owned KINFRA Film and Video Park near Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala. The firm has been allocated 60,000 square feet of built-up area.

Opening a third facility for GSS Kerala is important to Ernst & Young's strategy, said Tim Eddy, global vice chair of E&Y Global Services, after the firm signed a memoram of understanding with Kerala Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation.

"We already have highly-skilled professionals in our Kerala Center, providing key services to the organization. This new facility will serve our growth needs well, enabling us to expand to meet the increasing demand for our services," said Eddy.

GSS Kerala is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ernst & Young, a global professional services firm. With a headcount of 1254, the center already has facilities at Technopark in Thiruvananthapuram and Infopark in Kochi.
