Usha Uthup Concert for a Cause in Mumbai on March 24

Indian popular pop singer, Usha Uthup — who has sung in more than 13 Indian and 8 foreign languages — is scheduled to perform live for a cause at NCPA Tata Theatre in Mumbai on March 24, 2012 from 7 pm onwards.

Usha Uthup will offer her voice in support of the Psychoanalytic Therapy and Research Centre (PTRC). PTRC began its work four decades ago in Mumbai. It works in the area of mental health, and offers training; creates awareness about mental health and provides psychoanalytic psychotherapy to adults and children with emotional difficulties.

Usha Uthup’s concert for this deserving cause promises a delightful and vibrant evening, which is an artistic exclusive event by the Psychoanalytic Therapy & Research Centre.

With her trademark Kanjeevaram saris, flowers in her hair, a riveting bindi, a beaming smile and a mesmerising voice, Usha Uthup has been holding audiences in thrall for over four decades now. Through her music, she has spread a message of love, happiness, unity, peace, harmony, tolerance and integrity.
