Yes Bank, India’s fourth largest private sector bank, opened its flagship state-of-the-art branch in the state capital of Kerala, Thiruvanathapuram on Thursday, Feb. 16, 2012. Minister of state for Finance KM Mani inaugurated the branch.
The high-tech branch in Thiruvananthapuram showcases cutting edge banking technologies and hopes to transform its branches from being mere transaction outlets to 'Service Oriented Advisory Centres,' thus shifting the focus from providing plain vanilla transactions to high-end value added services.
Currently, Yes Bank has 331 branches in India at 200 locations and plans to strengthen its presence in Kerala with a set-up in Kochi shortly.
