Sony to Launch PlayStation Vita in India, UK on Feb. 22

Sony will launch its latest handheld gaming beast, the PlayStation Vita, in India simultaneously with its UK release on February 22, 2012.

The PlayStation Vita has an ARM Cortex A9 core (4 core) processor, SGX543MP4+ GPU, 5 inches (16:9), 960 x 544, Approx. 16 million colors, OLED Multi touch screen (capacitive type), a rear Multi touch pad (capacitive type), Front and Rear camera, Built-in stereo speakers Built-in microphone, Six-axis motion sensing system (three-axis gyroscope, three-axis accelerometer), Three-axis electronic compass, Built-in GPS and Bluetooth 2.1+EDR (A2DP/AVRCP/HSP).

The Wi-Fi model of Sony PlayStation Vita is priced at Rs 19,990 and the WiFi + 3G model is priced at Rs 24,990.
