Mercedes Launches FI Car MGP W03 in Barcelona

Mercedes launched its new Formula 1 Grand Prix car, the MGP W03 on February 21, 2012 at the Catalunya circuit near Barcelona, Spain. The official launch of MGP W03 has happened at Barcelona, just before the start of the second official test session of the season.

Like most of the other cars, the MGP W03 features the now-familiar stepped-nose design.

Mercedes also took the opportunity to give the public a first glimpse of a new high-performance roadster, the Mercedes-Benz SL63 AMG.
