Spring Fest: Beijing Post Offices Sell Train, Air Tickets

Post offices in Beijing, China are selling train tickets to help cope with the Spring Festival travel rush faced by the railways.

Twenty-four post offices in the city have started selling train tickets. They will remain open till 10 pm instead of 6 pm, during the festival season. The Spring Festival, or the Chinese Lunar New Year, falls on Jan. 23 this year.

The ticket outlets, most of which are located in the suburbs, will help the migrant workers during the holiday period. The post offices in Beijing are also selling air tickets.
