India holds road shows in the cities of Dammam, Riyadh and Jeddah in Saudi Arabia from Jan. 7–11, 2012 to attract Saudi tourists to the best known destinations of "Incredible India.”

About 4.5 million Saudis — representing nearly a quarter of the population — had travelled abroad and spent about $33 billion in 2011.

The Indian delegation was led by Tourism Secretary RH Khwaja and included representatives of the tourism departments of Jammu and Kashmir and Maharashtra, members of the Indian Association of Tour Operators (IATO), Air India, Jet Airways, Taj Group of Hotels and those of medical and wellness groups.
