24th Kerala Science Congress at Kottayam From Jan. 29-31

The 24th Kerala Science Congress will kick off at the Rubber Research Institute of India, Kottayam, Kerala on January 29, 2012. The event will focus on climate change besides plantation crops and spices of the state.

The three-day congress, concluding on January 31, will provide an opportunity for presentation of research papers and poster presentations in 12 different science subject areas by state level winners of Children's Science Congress.

Chief Minister Oommen Chandy will inaugurate the event and Prof T Ramasami, Secretary, Department of Science and Technology will deliver the keynote address.
