The Centre for Sustainable Development (CSD) will organize the Bangalore World Water Summit from February 1-3, 2012. The purpose of the summit is to discuss ways and means of providing adequate and safe water to all sections of the population.
The deliberations during the summit have been designed to work towards finding a solution towards a range of issues such as meeting the growing demand for water and better sanitation, especially in the context of the increasing population and rapid urbanization.
