NY: Greater Rochester Career Conference, Job Fair on Jan. 5

The fourth annual Greater Rochester Career Conference and Job Fair will be held at Monroe Community College, Rochester, New York, United States on Thursday, Jan. 5, 2012.

The career conference will bring together job seekers, businesses that are hiring, and educational organizations in the Greater Rochester region.

The conference will feature a series of workshops on job search and career management strategies with topics like "LinkedIn: The Hiring Managers Favorite Place to find Employees," "Key Networking Strategies" and "Confidence: Getting Your Head in the Game."

More than 60 different businesses, training and educational providers will attend the event including Alliance Precision Plastics, Calvary Automation Systems, Concentrix, EJ Del Monte Corporation, Highland Hospital, Iberdrola USA, The College at Brockport, the Rochester Institute of Technology and Verizon Wireless.

The event, which is free and open to the public, will be held from 9 am to 3 pm in the R. Thomas Flynn Campus Center, Building 3, on the campus of Monroe Community College.
