Mel Gibson to Host 'Mad Max' Event in Los Angeles on Jan. 21

American actor/director Mel Gibson is set to host a special event in Hollywood honoring his Mad Max movies. The event will take place on January 21, 2011.

All three of the futuristic films will be screened at the Egyptian Theatre in Los Angeles in January, 2012 as part of the American Cinematheque tribute.

The veteran star, whose personal life has dominated headlines over the years, will appear onstage and take part in a question and answer session with audience members.
