Dilli Haat is hosting a 16-day exhibition-cum-sale of special handloom made by some of India's finest artisans. The "Special Handloom Expo 2011" at Dilli Haat near INA Market in south Delhi is open till Dec. 31, 2011.
Plenty of famous artisans from around India have set up their stalls. While saris, shawls, stoles, salwar-kameez and bedsheets dominate, one can also find items like rugs, stone and metal carvings and other crafts.
The event seeks to provide a platform where reputed designers, exporters and bulk buyers can interact and do business.
Dilli Haat is also known as the village craftsman's mart.
