Delhi: ‘Infinite Stupidity’ Play at IHC on Dec. 30

Famous English play ‘Infinite Stupidity’ will be showcased at the Stein Auditorium, India Habitat Center, Lodhi Road, New Delhi on Dec. 30, 2011 from 7 pm.

The play is about the space between the notes that makes the music — the lull and the chaos of the common Indian man. Ten clowns come together from different parts of the country, playing a different instrument. Together, note by note, instrument by instrument, a symphony is formed, morphing into a jam-packed auto lurching and careening through the stillness and chaos of India.

Using Red-Nose Clowning and Physical Theatre techniques, these trained clowns portray the many emotions and contradictions in its most exaggerated but colorful flavors. `So wait and see how these clowns ride an Auto into your hearts. `Find the stillness in the motion, and the motion in the stillness, and the joy that straddles them.
