Mumbai: Kabuliwala Laut Aaya Play at Prithvi Theatre on Dec. 27

A famous Hindi Play Kabuliwala Laut Aaya will be showcased at Prithvi Theatre, Juhu Church Road, Mumbai on Dec. 27, 2011 from 8 pm.

Directed by Ramesh Talwar, the play will be performed by Asif Shaikh, Tanvi Azmi, Twisha Baunthiyal, Prashant Padale and Nivedita Baunthiyal.

The play, about a homesick Afghani and his friendship with a little girl in Kolkata, has two parts. The original story ends at the first part. In the second part, the past and present are connected with a new story, related to the Kabuliwala and the little girl, making it relevant in the present context.
