Comedy Play ‘Ghalib in New Delhi’ at Shri Ram Centre on Dec. 31

The famous comedy play ‘Ghalib in New Delhi’ will be showcased at Shri Ram Centre for Art & Culture, Connaught Place, New Delhi on Dec. 31, 2011 from 7 pm.

The play deals with Mirza Ghalib's re-birth on the eve of the Commonwealth Games 21st century in New Delhi. It deals with trials and tribulations from his birth at ISBT to staying in a servant quarter at Patpad Ganj with a Bihari young man to becoming a Page-3 Celebrity.

Directed by Dr. Sayeed Alam, the cast of the play includes Dr. M. Sayeed Alam, Niti Sayeed, Hareesh Chhabra, Yashpal Malik, Ram N Diwakar and others.

Tickets range from Rs 100 to Rs 500 per person.
