Bangalore: India’s Longest Cycling Ride, BSA Tour of Nilgiris From Dec. 16

India’s longest organized cycling tour, BSA Tour of Nilgiris, will be flagged off on December 16, 2011 from 6 am to 7 am, from the Koramangala Indoor Stadium Lawns, Bangalore, Karnataka. The flag off is open to everyone.

The BSA Tour of Nilgiris is a 900 kilimeters, 8-day cycling tour with 70 participants that include 60 men and 10 women. BSA Tour of Nilgiris passes through Bangalore, Mysore, Hassan, Mercara, Irupu, Sultanbathery and Ooty.

It is a first-of-its-kind-in-India sporting event and is a spectacular tour of southern Indian heritage, culture, cuisines and its people. This is the second edition of the highly successful tour.
