Bangalore: British Library Organizes Script Writing Workshop on Jan. 11

British Library is organizing a workshop on screenplay and script writing by Qaisra Shahraz on January 11, 2012 in Bangalore.

The workshop aims to train the participants on how to write screenplay and TV scripts and also helps gain an insight into format of TV scripts and the process of adaptations of novels into screenplays for cinema or TV serials.

The workshop targets prospective authors, screen and script writers, teachers of creative writing, students of literature, directors, producers and also those interested in screenplay and script writing.

During this day-long workshop the participants will gain an insight into the process of adapting novels into screenplays and learn about the important tools of script writing.

The workshop also trains the participants in ideas, plots, actions, dialogue, structure, audience involvement, characterization, emotions (building the ‘roller coaster’ effect), writing the screenplay etc.
