His Highness Dr Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, on Nov. 16, 2011 inaugurated the 30th edition of Sharjah International Book Fair.
More than 250,000 book titles and 435 activities are available at this year’s book fair, which runs until November 26, 2011.
The Indian pavilion at the book fair showcases over 35 leading Indian publishers with over 100,000 titles on display.
The highlight of Indian participation will be the presence of 10 popular authors including Shashi Tharoor, Shobha De, Chetan Bhagat, Ruskin Bond, MT Vasudevan Nair, M Mukundan and Jaishree Misra.
