Bangalore Book Fest at Palace Grounds From Nov. 18-27

The 9th Bangalore Book Festival 2011 kick started at Gayathri Vihar, Palace Grounds in Bangalore. The festival will be held from November 18 to 27, 2011 from 11 am to 8 pm.

The entry fare is Rs 20/person. Entry is free for students. India’s leading publishers, distributors, exporters, and importers with over a million titles under different categories and languages will participate in South India’s biggest-ever book festival. The book festival will also have seminars and cultural programs.

More than 330 booksellers will put up stalls at the expo. Books pertaining to medicine, engineering, architecture, ayurveda, astrology, fiction, etc, will be on display. Besides fiction and non-fiction, textbooks and guides will also be sold.
