Mumbai will host the fifth World Cotton Research Conference (WCRC) from November 7–11, 2011. More than 200 top cotton scientists of the world are expected to attend the meet.
The conference will be inaugurated by Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar. Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan and Union Science and Technology Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh will also be present on the occasion.
