'Self-Defense for Women' by Renowned Martial Artist in CA From Nov. 11–12

One of the finest female self-defense and martial arts instructors in United States will be teaching in Grass Valley, California from Nov. 11–12, 2011.

Danielle Smith has taught self-defense and martial arts throughout the world. She is one of the highest ranked female aikidoists and a founder of the internationally taught Model Mugging program of self-defense for women.

She will teach a self-defense workshop for women 6-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 11. While the workshop is open to all women (14 years and older), it is limited to 30 participants.

Smith will be teaching an aikido seminar Saturday, Nov. 12. The aikido seminar is open to all, ages 7 and up, and all experience levels.

Asia Currie, art teacher at Nevada City School of the Arts, will be performing her second-degree black belt exam during the Saturday morning class.

The aikido seminar will be from 10–11.30 am and 1–2.30 pm
