India's First International Frisbee Tournament in Delhi From Nov. 5–6

Delhi will host India’s first ever International Frisbee Tournament—The Ultimate Delhight—from November 5–6, 2011 at Tau Devi Lal Stadium, Gurgaon, Haryan.

The two day event will witness 12 teams. Twelve teams with one flying disc and no referee, the Ultimate Frisbee is one of the few sports where both men and women can play together.

The Ultimate Frisbee incorporates aspects of basketball, soccer and rugby to form a no-contact sport where seven players in two opposing teams score points by passing the Frisbee to a teammate in the opponents' end zone.

While Frisbee fever may not have quite caught on in the land of the IPL, there is a growing interest in the game, with cities like Mumbai, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Bangalore and Pune having dedicated Ultimate teams which participate in interstate tournaments.

Feel the rush as 12 national and international teams come together for 2 fun-filled days of extreme Ultimate. It’s tough to just sit on the sidelines with all that adrenaline so partake in the exhilarating game at the free workshop on Sunday afternoon.

Venue: Tau Devi Lal Stadium, Gurgaon, Haryan

Dates: Saturday, November 5, 2011 (8 am–6 pm)

Sunday, November 6, 2011 (8.30 am onwards, Final match at 4.15 pm)
