Grammy-winning Singer Al Jarreau Performs in New Orleans Today

Grammy-winning jazz singer Al Jarreau will perform live at a concert that will benefit Xavier University in New Orleans on Nov. 18, 2011.

This will be the fourth year a concert has been held for the Dr. Norman C. Francis Endowed Scholarship Fund, a program named after the university’s president. The fund allows deserving students to earn a college degree regardless of their finances.

New Orleans native and a Xavier graduate John Boutte is also scheduled to perform in the concert.
