Canada: Comox Valley Concert Band and Choir Fest From Nov. 21-23

The Comox Valley on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada will host the 20th annual Comox Valley Concert Band and Choir Festival from November 21-23, 2011.

To celebrate 20 years, the Festival is inviting four well known music educators, some of whom travel the globe sharing their insight, musical knowledge and passion for music making, to work with this year's students.

November 21 will feature the Choral portion of the Festival at Northgate Foursquare Church starting at 9 am till 5 pm. A number of local schools - Courtenay Elementary, Ecole Puntledge, Vanier, Highland and Mark Isfeld - will feature groups throughout the day.

November 22 and November 23 will feature the Concert Band portion of the festival at the Sid Williams Theatre. Doors open at 8.30 am and people can come and go throughout the day.

The evening Wind Symphony performance on Tuesday November 22 starting at 7 pm will be open to the public but seating will be limited. Admission is by donation.
