A musical fest for independent musicians ‘WORME Fest 2011’ is going to take place at Turquoise Cottage, Vasant Vihar in New Delhi on Nov. 5, 2011 from 6 pm to 12 midnight.
The WORME Fest 2011 is a multi-genre music festival spanning this year across six cities, starting with New Delhi and then reaching out to Kolkata, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Pune and Mumbai with close to 40 bands playing across the country at six venues.
The New Delhi event will have “The Circus” as the Special Guest Act and the following five upcoming bands will showcase their talent through the evening - Rishi Inc, The Urban Earlymen, Middle Finger Theory, Pratigya and U.8.Noise.
Out of these 40, the top 10–12 bands selected from all the locations will once again perform in New Delhi at a showcase finale event to be conducted by the end of this year.
