Delhi Hosts Intl Conference on Islamic Arts & Architecture From Nov. 11-13

The Faculty of Architecture & Ekistics of Jamia Millia Islamia is going to host the fifth International Conference on Islamic Arts and Architecture 2011 (ICIAA 2011) in Delhi from Nov. 11-13, 2011 between 11 am and 5 pm.

ICIAA was previously held in the culturally opulent cities of Isfahan in 2006 and 2010, New Delhi 2007 and Lahore 2008.

ICIAA 2011 is conceived as a multifaceted conference with Forums, Technical Sessions, Exhibitions, Performing arts, Heritage Visits, Workshops.

Sub Themes:

* Islamic Arts and Architecture and the current urban scenario.
* Islamic Arts and Architecture and the current environmental crisis.
* Islamic Arts and Architecture and the current economic scenario.

Registration fee:

For Delegates: Rs 5000 for SAARC countries, Rs 20000 for other countries
For Students: Rs 2000 for SAARC countries, Rs 10000 for other countries
(With complimentary accommodation in JMI guest house)
For Workshop: Rs 2000

The Registration fees may be paid at the venue during opening of the conference.
