Sydney: 15th Japanese Film Festival to Conclude on Nov. 27

The 15th Japanese Film Festival was held in Sydney, Australia on November 17 and the festival will run till November 27, 2011.

Yutaka Takenouchi was the first Japanese actor to attend the 15th Japanese Film Festival.

Recognized as one of Australia’s top film festivals, the 15th Japanese Film Festival will play host to 30 brand-new Japanese films including Studio Ghibli’s Arrietty, Space Battleship Yamato, Gantz, and Oba the Last Samurai.

The event is held once a year to screen Japanese films in Australia. After showing 30 films in Sydney, the event will then transfer to Melbourne to screen 35 movies from November 29 to December 6, 2011.
