Chennai to Run for Child Education in 1000 Villages on Nov. 12

This Saturday morning, Nov 12, run 5 km on the Marina to support children's education in 1000 villages.

Your Eureka Run will help AID INDIA support the education of 60000 children in 1000 poorest villages of Tamil Nadu.

Today, more than 50% children in Std 3-5 in Tamilnadu villages are unable to even read and subtract. There is an urgent need to improve the quality of education for the poorest. Your Run will spread awareness about this issue and will generate support and funds for making a change.

Last year, more than 1000 people ran at the Eureka Run and helped launch village education centers in 250 villages. This year, with your support, we hope to reach and impact children in 1000 villages.

People of all ages and fitness can join this 5 km run/walk.

Register online on: http://www.eurekachild.org/run2011/

Registration fee of Rs. 250 will support the education of 1 child for 3 months. You will also get a free Eureka T-Shirt.
