Pakistan will soon organize a peace conference of local and foreign religious scholars in Quetta to check sectarian violence.
Interior Minister Rehman Malik said religious scholars and others from all over Pakistan and abroad will be invited to attend the peace conference. He also said the government would apply all resources available to restore law and order.
Quetta is a stronghold of both the Pakistani and the Afghan Taliban battling American troops in Afghanistan.
