Georgia’s Savannah will play host to a concert part of the "50 Shows in 50 States" event of the Girls Rock Camp Alliance national program on November 11, 2011.
The show will take place at Livewire with doors opening at 8 pm and bands taking the stage at 10 pm.
The "50 Shows in 50 States" event supports the Girls Rock Camp Alliance. With a show set to take place in every state on Nov. 11 - or 11/11/11 - proceeds will benefit rock camps nationwide.
The primary goal of Girls Rock Camps is to empower girls between 8–16 years old through self-expression in a safe and comfortable environment. While at camp, girls form bands, write a song together over a week and then perform it a showcase.
Tickets are $8 and rise to $10 at the door. There will also be a raffle at the concert.
