Vidya Balan to Marry Siddharth Roy on Dec. 14

Bollywood diva Vidya Balan is all set to wed UTV chief Siddharth Roy Kapur on December 14, 2012 at a South Indian Temple in Mumbai. The couple are together since 2010, but have not been very vocal about their relationship.

The couple will have a Punjabi-style sangeet ceremony on December 11, followed by a Tamilian wedding on December 14 and a high-profile reception later on.

This will be Vidya Balan’s first marriage. Siddharth Roy Kapur has been married twice. Siddharth Kapur is half Christian (mother Salome Aaron, a former Miss India, is Christian) and half Punjabi. Vidya Balan is a Tamil Brahmin belonging to the “Palakkad Iyer” community or caste.

Big names of Bollywood like Amitabh Bachchan (with family), Ekta Kapoor, Milan Luthria, Vishal Bhardwaj, R Balki, Designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee and many more have been invited for the wedding.

Vidya and Siddharth will be at Caribbean for their honeymoon.
