'Dabangg 2' Earns Rs 100-Crore in Six Days

After Dabangg, Bodyguard and Ek Tha Tiger, Indian superstar Salman Khan has done it once again. Within six days of its release, Dabangg 2 has entered the Rs 100 crore-club with collections amounting to Rs.100.78 crore.

Made under the banner of Arbaaz Khan Productions, Dabangg 2 has been written by Dilip Shukla. This is Arbaaz's first film as a director. The film released in over 3,500 screens across India on Dec. 21, 2012.

This year has been very lucky for Salman Khan. Kabir Khan-directed "Ek Tha Tiger" was an Eid release and set the cash registers ringing, but "Dabangg 2" achieved this feat in spite of being a non-holiday release.
