Lance Armstrong Stripped of 7 Tour de France Titles; Ban for Life

Disgraced American cyclist Lance Armstrong on October 22, 2012 has been stripped of his seven Tour de France titles by the sport's world governing body, the UCI.

The 41-year-old ‘Livestrong’ founder has been stripped of all results since August 1, 1998 and banned for life. During his trial, eleven of his former team-mates testified against him.
