Kingfisher Airlines Not to Resume Operations Till Oct. 7

Kingfisher Airlines has told its staff that there will be no operations till October 7, 2012.

Initially the airline had said that the partial lockout declared on October 1 was till October 4 and the flights will operate from October 5.

Airline staff has not been paid for the past seven months. Senior Kingfisher officials say that March salary for the remaining staff will be given in about a week. The airline hopes to start operating again in four to five days.
