A 90th minute penalty strike by substitute Balotelli helped Roberto Mancini’s Manchester City salvaged a point in their second Champions League Group D match against Borussia Dortmund at the Etihad Stadium on October 4, 2012.
Marco Reus put the Bundesliga holders ahead in the 61 minute to silenced the Etihad crowd. The English Champions were lucky to get the spot-kick after Borussia’s Neven Subotic was penalized for hand-balling (rather harshly I might add) a Sergio Aguero volley late in the match.
Manchester City are now placed third in Group D with one single point from two matches while Jose’s Real Madrid top the group with six points.
