Taylor Swift to Play Joni Mitchell in New Biopic

American country singer and current pop princess Taylor Swift is all set to play legendary singer Joni Mitchell in an upcoming biopic ‘Girls Like Us.’ The flick is based on Sheila Weller's 2008 book of the same title.

This will be the first leading role in a film for the 22-year-old six-time Grammy winning star.

The flick will center around the life and career of Joni Mitchell, along with her fellow contemporary singers Carly Simon and Carole King.
