TAPMI to Host HR Conclave ‘Disha’ in Manipal From Sept. 8–9

The Manipal-based TA Pai Management Institute (TAPMI) will conduct a two-day HR conclave “Disha” in Manipal from September 8–9, 2012.

During the conclave, senior corporate dignitaries from India’s top notch companies will discuss, debate, and reflect on various aspects of human resource management (HRM). They will also share their knowledge and experience with students.

Disha, which is in the fourth edition this year, is focusing on the theme ‘Leveraging technology in HR.’

Some industry leaders will deliver lectures and seminars on various topics related to the theme. It is aimed at giving students as well as the faculty an opportunity to know the perspective of the industry in the current scenario, the release said.

There will be a panel discussion on ‘Leveraging technology for effective HRM’. It will comprise invited industry guests and faculty members.

There will be a case study presentation competition at the conclave. A panel of invited industry representatives will judge this competition, the release said.

This year, representatives from Robert Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions Ltd, Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, Nomura Services India Pvt Ltd, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd, HDFC, and Oracle Financial Services Software Ltd will participate in the conclave.
