Pankaj Udhas rose to fame for singing "Chitthi Aayee Hai" for the film "Naam" directed by Mahesh Bhatt starring Sanjay Dutt which instantly became a raging hit. Following which he recorded many albums and tours the world frequently for concerts. Pankaj Udhas was felicitated with a Padmashree award in the year 2006.
