The annual Gurgaon Art Festival 2012 will be held at Epicentre, Sector 44, Gurgaon from Sept. 12–16, 2012 between 9 am and 6 pm. The festival will be a symphony of senior artists with upcoming ones, bringing together over 50 painters and sculptors displaying more than 200 landscapes, figurative, abstract, semi-abstract, realistic and spiritual works of art.
Visitors will also get a chance to interact with professional artists through a host of activities like art workshops, portrait making and clay modeling.
There will also be free art lessons for underprivileged children by Gurgaon based NGO Saksham Bal Vikas Sansthan during the five-day event.
Curator Maandavi S. Sharma, whose brainchild the event is, has handpicked the paintings and sculptures created by 51 eminent and upcoming artists from across India.
Distinguished names in the art fraternity like Prithvi Soni, Suhas Roy, Dhiraj Choudhury, J.M.S. Mani, Tejinder Kanda, Prabir Bagchi and Prabal Roy, among others, will be showcasing their works.
Art buyers, collectors, media, the art fraternity, embassies, architects, interior designers as well as Indian and multinational corporate houses and executives will be present on the occasion to honor and support the participants.
The event will also host workshops for socially and economically challenged children at all the shows.
All paintings are hand-painted oil paintings .The quality of paint pigment is stable and the color is not easy to change, which is up to the international detection standard of environmentally friendly materials. We pursue high quality of the painting and precise control of the detail.
