Barcelona FC to Offer New Contract to Xavi

Spanish club Barcelona FC are all-set to offer a new improved contract to star playmaker Xavi Hernandez. The 32-year-old Spanish midfielder, a product of La Masia, the Barcelona youth academy still has two years remaining in his existing contract.

Since making his first-team debut in 1998, he has played 697 matches scoring 78 goals for the Catalan giants.

Xavi is the most decorated Spanish player in history.
