Andrew Garfield Reunites With Marc Webb for Spider-Man Sequel

Actor Andrew Garfield is set to reunite with director Marc Webb for the sequel to "The Amazing Spider-Man."

Webb will return behind the camera for the prohect, tentatively scheduled to hit theatres in May, 2014.

Actress Emma Stone is in talks to play Spider-Man aka Peter Parker's love interest Gwen Stacy once again.

"The Amazing Spider-Man," a reboot of Sam Raimi's original films, starring Tobey Maguire, smashed US box office records in July 2012 by raking in $35 million on its opening day.

The action movie has grossed $750 million worldwide since its release.
