Murray to Face Federer in Olympics Final

British No.1 and local favorite Andy Murray defeated Serbia's Novak Djokovic 7-5, 7-5 in the Olympic men's tennis semi-finals. Murray will now take on his Wimbledon nemesis and World No. 1 Roger Federer of Switzerland in the final for the Olympic gold on Sunday, Aug. 5, 2012.

Federer booked his final spot on Aug. 3, rallying past Juan Martin del Potro of Argentina 3-6, 7-6 (5), 19-17 in 4 hours, 26 minutes, the longest three-set men’s match of the Open era.

Djokovic, the 2008 Beijing bronze medalist, will again play for the bronze medal against Juan Martin del Potro on Sunday.
